Situation vs Determination: Affordable maternity wear thanks to a child with special needs
One mother's determination has created an affordable maternity store to allow her to give her Autistic son the best of care.
Patrick is 4 and has been diagnosed with ASD (High Functioning Autism). To enable him to start school in 2010, he requires upto 20 hours of early intervention services per week. With so much time taken up with appointments, mum, Kath Shipham, was faced with the reality of caring for a special needs child and no longer being able to work full time.
