It is that time of year when we need to pamper our Mum's and our Mum's-to-be. They work so hard for us all year long, so they deserve at least this one day a year. Mother's day falls on Sunday May 8th this year, and that is the perfect day to pamper our favorite Mums. Whether your Mum is a working Mum, a stay-at-home Mum, or even a work-at-home-Mum we know that it can be hard to find some down time. She works all day long for her kids and partner in life, so let's work hard this Sunday to make her day easy. Ways to Pamper a Mum:
• Let's do something great for Mum right at the outset of the day. Breakfast. It is the meal of champions, so let's give it to our best champion. Find out Mum's favourite breakfast food and prepare it for her. Serve it up right in an easy place for her. Whether she loves to eat in bed, or out on the patio get her set up right with some nice dishes and maybe a little something that says I love you Mum.
• Make her day easy by getting the things done she usually does around the house. The vacuuming, mopping, bathroom cleaning, laundry, anything that she does everyday, and get it done with some help from the whole family. Mum will love and appreciate the gesture. Just remember if you choose laundry separate colours and do not use bleach on darks, and read the labels, delicates are not washed on high! We are trying to relax our Mum, not make more work for her.
• Finally plan a nice dinner for her. Tell her to go soak in the tub or take a nice long shower and leave her something fun and fancy to dress up in.
